A Plan in the Making

My son and I have been talking about visiting India for a couple of years. 2025 presented itself as the first year when we both could free up the time to turn this dream into a real adventure.
Air tickets are booked. I will set off from my small Greek island of Sifnos, via Athens and my son will set off from Cambridge, England. We will meet in Chennai at the start of February.

Welcome to our adventure. Father and son go backpacking in India. We plan to meet up in Chennai, explore the south of India and then take a long train journey up to Delhi to round of the trip with a visit to the Taj Mahal in Agra.
We both tend to travel in the same way. We are not looking to do tick-boxes tourist items, but rather talking a random path where we hope to meet interesting people, taste fabulous local food and wonderful random experiences.
